This post will discuss top 10 Universities with fastest Academic Calender in Nigeria, selections will be made from Federal and State owned schools mixed together. We have ignored private institutions from the list since we all know that they generally have fast calendars as compared to Government owned schools in our country.
We seen several threads on the internet where students argued which of the schools is fastest in academics. A lot of them argued based on what was obtainable in the past and not present. For instance, below is a comment a Graduate made on one of such articles post on Myschoolbaze:
“When I was in school, I’d always known only one school FUTO that kept leading us
(UNIZIK) in the school calender by a few months. There was a time (I think 2004/2005) the then VC Ilochi Okafor, SAN so rushed us, that we finished 2 sessions in one year. Students wan die then : )
However, if u’ll include private Uni, Caritas University and Madonna are also fast that they run different sch calendars for the different levels. So, if say 300 level students are thru with their exams, they could commence the next semester wtout having to wait for the rest of the school.“
